Many people believe that the afterlife is just a fairy tale or a mechanism of comfort. Jesus says with patience ye shall possess your souls. This means that we are in the process of creating a soul. Implying that before incarnation we were just individual essences. The afterlife is separated into a few different realms. We have the physical realm which is just the negative polarity of matter then we have the realm of dreams and then beyond the spirit world or the celestial realms. The astral realm below the celestial is separated into 7 or sometimes 9 different layers each with its particular environment and plane of inertia.What happends to peoople who died before you ? The Upanishads states they dwell in the spiritual sky. Earth-bound souls who feine after material sense gratification or who have hang-ups, obsessions, or certain attachments to the physical realm become earth-bound souls who vicariously live through others and try to get embodied physical humans to commit crimes and do things so they can vicariously.
