The energy rises to the head and allegorically slays the lamb. Aries rules the head.

When the lower aspects of the animal nature are sacrificed in the altar within the positive aspects of the animal reign supreme. We then become , gentalas lambs, but courageous in reaching our spiritual goals like a ram, we become hard working and diligent like the bull. “Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man.” Jesus Christos

This statement is referring to man eating the lion and overcoming the lower animal nature so that the lion transmutes in to a higher form man, or the energetic potency is transmuted into the superior nature. The opposite of this would be if the Lion or animal nature consumes man and then man becomes a lion.
